How does this compare to Patguard Cloud?

It's a newer product. While "Patguard Cloud" has just come to market, it's actually an older solution that was called Pat Organiser (an Australian company) that seaward have just brought out. With that in mind Patguard Cloud simply can't stay as up to date and as current as Pat Connect due to the fact it isn't owned and maintained by full time Pat Testers.

Our solution comes with one single charge - and thats it - it's yours , forever with free updates, making this massively more cost effective. Added to this Patguard was brought out by Seaward so its likely that it will become dated over time and seldom updated, very much like Patguard.

How does the calendar work?

When you complete a Pat Testing report, Pat Connect looks at the expiry date, and from there marks it in your calendar and making it very much a self managing system .

It also tracks whether or not you have rebooked each client in, and emails you to remind you if they haven't, saving you time and administration.

The limitations of software having to be installed, and the lack of regular updates to cater for ever changing requirements, created the need for this solution.
